RBI places Reports of three Working Groups on its website for comments
The Reserve Bank of India has today placed on its website for public comments, reports of three Working Groups. These are : (i) Defraying Costs of ICT Solutions for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs); (ii) Technology Upgradation of Regional Rural Banks; and (iii) IT support for Urban Co-operative Banks. The Reserve Bank of India has constituted a working group under the Chairmanship of its Executive Director, Shri V.S Das, to suggest measures, including the appropriate regulatory and supervisory framework, to facilitate emergence of umbrella organisation(s) for the urban cooperative banking sector in each state.
