(RBI/Belapur Regional office/Estate/4/24-25/ET/500[DSITC of Security Alarm Sys).

The Pre-Bid meeting for the captioned tender was held on November 07, 2024, at 15:00 hrs. Two firms participated in the Pre-bid meeting. List of participants given in Annex-1.

2. DGM (Tech.) in his inaugural address welcomed the representatives of the firms and briefed the forum about the captioned work.

3. Firm-wise queries were clarified as follows:

Whether solvency certificate issued before publishing of tender can be submitted?

As per tender clause 3.4.2 - Pre-qualification Criteria (4) – Firm should furnish solvency certificate issued by the Applicant’s banker, specifically for the purpose of the above work for an amount equal to estimated cost.

There is no change in tender requirement.

Whether old Security alarm system will run in parallel to new Security alarm system?

Contractor was advised to refer the tender document in this regard (Page no. 76). It has been mentioned in the tender document that “The old Security alarm system will run in parallel to new Security alarm system and kept under observation for up to maximum of 3 months. Upon finding satisfactory performance of new system by Protocol and Security Cell, the old system will be safely dismantled in consultation with P&SO cell and disposed under buyback.”

4. It was also clarified in the meeting that in addition to the tender provision 3.11.3 a) for submission of Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG), contractor may also provide written explicit consent to the Bank to deduct equivalent PBG amount from his bills till submission of PBG / completion of the contract. However, in case of delay in submission of PBG in unavoidable circumstances, charges for delay in submission of Bank Guarantee shall be recovered from the bills of the contractor at Bank rate.

5.These minutes of pre-bid meeting / corrigendum shall form the part of Bid document and Agreement/ Contract.

6. The terms, conditions and specifications of the tender/ Bid document shall continue to remain same unless otherwise stated / clarified in this corrigendum.

7. The above clarifications are issued for the information and necessary action for all the intending bidders.

8.. The submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the tender/ Bid document and Amendments/ Clarifications given above.
