Dear Sir,

Please refer to our earlier circular RPCD.No.SP.BC.26/09.04.01/2001 –2002 dated September 19, 2001 regarding the decision of the 11^th High Powered Committee on the PMRY that banks having less than 5 branches shall not be allocated targets under PMRY if total targets of all branches of a bank having less than 5 branches constitute 2% or less, of the total target of the state.

2. It has since been decided by the Government of India to relax this stipulation for the state of Jammu & Kashmir in view of the announcement of Special Employment Package for Jammu & Kashmir for creation of one lakh employment in the state.

3.You may please advise your branches functioning in Jammu & Kashmir to participate in the implementation of PMRY Scheme and achieve their allocated targets under PMRY scheme.
