The Reserve Bank of India has appointed Shri M. R. Umarji, formerly Executive Director of Corporation Bank as Executive Director in the Reserve Bank of India with effect from September 1, 1999. Shri Umarji will look after the Department of Non-Banking Supervision in the Reserve Bank of India.
