  * A new scheme, viz., special liquidity support Facility was introduced effective September 17, 1998.
Note : General Refinance facility was introduced with effect from April 26, 1997. Effective limits under this facility were reduced to 0.25 per cent (instead of 1.0 per cent earlier) of each banks fortnightly average aggregate deposits in 1996-97.
