The Kolkata Regional Office of the Reserve Bank of India is located on Netaji Subhash Road in B B D Bag area formerly known as “Dalhousie Square”. Reserve Bank started its journey in Calcutta (now Kolkata) in the year 1935 at the heritage building (now RBI Museum) which is located at Council House Street. The Kolkata Regional Office performs a wide range of functions.
