Important Notice for Candidates who have applied for Jammu Office – Online Examination for Recruitment of Assistants

1. Candidates who had selected Jammu as their centre for examination, but were allotted Srinagar centre, such candidates have now been accommodated at other centres. Kindly check your email for further details and download the new call letter with new date/timings and new venue details from the RBI website.

2. For candidates who have selected Srinagar as their examination centre, the examination scheduled at Srinagar centre has been postponed. Fresh date for the examination at Srinagar centre will be intimated later. Kindly check your email for further details.

3. For candidates who have selected Srinagar as their examination centre, but have given their residential address in cities other than Srinagar, such candidates, have the option to appear for their examination at a new designated centre on September 28, 2014 OR appear for the examination at Srinagar centre at a later date. Kindly check your email for further details. Fresh date for examination at Srinagar centre will be intimated later.

It has come to the notice of Reserve Bank of India that some fraudsters falsely promising to offer job for the posts in the bank are sending Appointment letters through emails by using fake domains which do not belong to the Reserve Bank of India, but these could be deceptively similar involving use of words such as RBI, RESERVEBANK, etc.

It is hereby clarified that recruitments for various posts filled by the bank are advertised on our official website. Also, all details regarding recruitment e.g. Call letters, interview schedule, final result, etc., are published only on our official website https://opportunities.rbi.org.in. In view of this, the Reserve Bank of India cautions members of public to be aware of such fake Appointment letters issued by fraudsters promising job in the Bank. Any Advertisements/ Communication from other sources should be cross verified for authenticity from the website.
