It has been decided that the work relating to authorisation of credit limits to State Governments and Administrations of Union Territories for their procurement operations/purchase of food grains from Food Corporation of India (FCI), which is being attended to by the Industrial and Export Credit Department of Reserve Bank of India, Central Office at present, be transferred to the Monetary Policy Department of RBI, Central Office with effect from July 1, 2004. You may, therefore, please address all your future correspondence relating to Food Credit to :
