Dear Sir/Madam,

Formation of new district in the State of Maharashtra -
Assignment of Lead Bank Responsibility

The Government of Maharashtra vide Gazette Notification No.Pra.Phe.B. 1108/C.R.167/Thane/M-10 dated June 17, 2014 had notified the formation of a new district viz. Palghar in the State of Maharashtra. It has been decided to assign the lead bank responsibility of the new district as detailed below:-

2. District Working Code of 382 has been allotted to Palghar district for the purpose of BSR reporting by banks.

3. There is no change in the lead bank responsibilities of the erstwhile district and of other districts in the state of Maharashtra.
