All Regional Rural Banks

Dear Sir/Madam,

Inclusion in/exclusion from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934- Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)

We advise that the names of eight amalgamated Regional Rural Banks have been included in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 by Notification RPCD.CO.RRB.BC.No.55/03.05.100/2013-14 dated November 14, 2013 published in the Extraordinary Gazette of India (Part III - Section 4) dated January 6, 2014.

2. Simultaneously, the names of 20 erstwhile Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) have been excluded from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 by notification RPCD.CO.RRB.No.56/03.05.100/2013-14 dated November 14, 2013 published in the above Extraordinary Gazette of India .

3. Copies of the above two notifications RPCD.CO.RRB.No.No.55/03.05.100/2013-14 and RPCD.CO.RRB.No.56/03.05.100/2013-14 dated November 14, 2013 are enclosed.

4. Please acknowledge receipt to our Regional Office concerned.

NOTIFICATION

In pursuance of clause (a) of sub section (6) of Section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act. 1934 (2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India directs the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following Regional Rural Banks, namely:

1. Bihar Gramin Bank, Begusarai, Bihar
2. Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh
3. Central Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh
4. Madhyanchal Gramin Bank, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh
5. Narmada Jhabua Gramin Bank, Indore, Madhya Pradesh
6. Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Ajmer, Rajasthan
7. Gramin Bank of Aryavart, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
8. Uttarakhand Gramin Bank, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

NOTIFICATION

In pursuance of clause (b) of sub section (6) of Section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act. 1934 (2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India directs the exclusion from the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following Regional Rural Banks, namely:
