Dr. Bimal Jalan re-appointed RBI Governor
The Government of India reappointed Dr. Bimal Jalan as the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India for a further period of two years commencing November 22, 2000 to November 21, 2002.
Dr. Jalan was appointed the Governor of the Reserve Bank in November 1997 for a period of three years.
