Reserve Bank of India, Bengaluru Office commenced its operations in 1953, shifted to the present premises in 1973 and shares the neighbourhood space with centuries old neoclassical buildings and is very proximate to Vidhana Soudha. The stately edifice of Bengaluru Regional Office at Nrupathunga Road is aesthetically situated amidst the lush greenery and tranquil ambience of Cubbon Park, which is the landmark ‘lung’ area of the city.
Being a major Centre, Bengaluru Regional Office has all the departments performing all the major functions.
