Monetary Policy Statement, 2020-21: Resolution of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) May 20 to 22, 2020

RBI extends Fixed Rate Reverse Repo and MSF window
Reserve Bank had vide Press Release 2019-2020/2147 dated March 30, 2020 extended the window timings of Fixed Rate Reverse Repo and MSF operations. In view of the continuing disruptions caused by COVID-19, it has been decided to continue with the revised timings till further notice. To tide over the situation arising from the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been decided, in consultation with the Government of India, that the limit for Ways and Means Advances (WMA) for the remaining part of first half of the financial year 2020-21 (April 2020 to September 2020) will be revised to ₹ 2,00,000 crore.
