The Reserve Bank of India, has on March 21, 2003 cancelled the certificate of registration granted to Yashaswi Limited having its registered office at S.F-10, City Point, 13, Infantry Road, Bangalore-560 001, for carrying on the business of a non-banking financial institution. Following cancellation of registration certificate, Yashaswi Limited cannot transact the business of a non-banking financial institution. The company has also been prohibited from acceptance of

ARCs to submit Registration Application to RBI by March 20
The Reserve Bank of India has notified the format of the application form which is to be submitted by the securitisation companies or reconstruction companies. These companies are required to apply to the Reserve Bank for registration under Section 3 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. RBI lowers ceiling on interest rates paid by NBFCs on deposits
The Reserve Bank of India today announced a revision in the maximum rate of interest which the non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) can offer on their public deposits. Taking into account the market conditions and changes in other interest rates in the entire financial system, the maximum rate of interest that NBFCs can pay on their public deposits, has been revised to 11 per cent per annum.
