Dear Sir,

Formation of new districts in Jammu & Kashmir State –
Assignment of Lead Bank responsibility

Please refer to our Circular No. RPCD.CO.LBS.BC.No. 23/02.08.01/2007-08 dated September 12, 2007, about the assignment of Lead Bank responsibility on regular basis in eight newly created districts viz. Ganderbal, Bandipur, Shopian, Kulgam, Samba, Reasi, Ramban and Kishtwar in J & K State.

In partial modification therein, it is advised that Kulgam district has been carved out of Anantnag district and not Pulwana district as mentioned earlier.
