RBI Reference Rate for US $ and Euro
The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is `62.4470 and the Reference Rate for Euro is `84.5040 on November 26, 2013. The corresponding rates for the previous day (November 25, 2013) were `62.5770 and `84.7000 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below: Currency Date November 25, 2013 November 26, 2013 1 GBP 101.4

Monitoring of Foreign Investment under PIS in Indian Companies - Incorporation in Caution List : M/s Axis Bank Ltd
The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that the foreign share holding through Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)/American Depository Receipt (ADR)/Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) in M/s Axis Bank Ltd. has reached the trigger limit. Accordingly, further purchases of equity shares of M/s Axis Bank Ltd. would be allowed only after obtaining the Reserve Bank's prior app

RBI receives US$ 22.7 billion under Forex Swap Window
The Reserve Bank has received till date USD 22.7 billion under the special concessional window for swapping Foreign Currency Non-Resident (Banks) Deposits and Overseas Foreign Currency Borrowings.
