In terms of GOI Notification F. No. 4(7) – B (W&M) /2019 dated September 30, 2019 (SGB 2019-20 Series V - Issue date October 15, 2019) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be October 15, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F. No. 4(7) – B (W&M) /2019 dated May 30, 2019 (SGB 2019-20 Series IV - Issue date September 17, 2019) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be September 17, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F. No. 4(16) – (W&M) /2016 dated February 23, 2017 (SGB 2016-17 Series IV - Issue date March 17, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be September 17, 2024. 

In terms of Para 13 of the Consolidated Procedural Guidelines on the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme issued by the Reserve Bank of India vide circular IDMD.CDD.1100/14.04.050/2021-22 dated October 22, 2021, premature redemption of the gold bonds is permitted after five years from the date of issue of such bonds.

In terms of GOI Notification F. No. 4(7) – B (W&M) /2019 dated May 30, 2019 (SGB 2019-20 Series III - Issue date August 14, 2019) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be August 14, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F. No. 4(22) – B (W&M) /2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19 Series VI - Issue date February 12, 2019) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be August 12, 2024.
