The Reserve Bank of India today issued a Direction to all Scheduled Commercial Banks (excluding Regional Rural Banks) on implementation of the Gold Monetisation Scheme, 2015 notified by the Central Government. RBI to Issue ₹ 10 Bank notes with inset letter "P"
The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue ₹ 10 denomination bank notes in the Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005, with inset letter 'P' in both the numbering panels, bearing the signature of Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India. The year of printing '2015' appears on the reverse of the Bank note.
