FIIs/RFPIs can now invest up to 40 per cent under PIS in M/s Edelweiss Financial Services Limited
The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/Registered Foreign Portfolios Investors (RFPIs) can now invest up to 40 per cent of the paid up capital of M/s Edelweiss Financial Services Limited under the Portfolio Investment Scheme. The Reserve Bank has stated that the company has passed resolutions at its Board of Directors’ level and a special resolution by the shareholders, agreeing for enhancing the limit from 28 per cent

RBI to conduct Overnight Repo Auction under Liquidity Adjustment Facility for ` 15,000 crore today
The Reserve Bank of India will conduct overnight repo variable rate auction for a notified amount of `15,000 crore today (October 21, 2014, Tuesday). The auction will be conducted between 3.45 PM and 4.15 PM as per the revised guidelines on Term Repo Auctions issued on February 13, 2014. Successful bidders will get the allotment at their respective bid rates. Bids at or below the repo rate will be rejected. The reversal of the overnight repo will take place on October
