In pursuance of the announcement made in the Statement on Developmental and Regulatory Policies dated February 6, 2026, the existing guidelines applicable to All India Financial Institutions, in respect of lending to InvITs have been reviewed and additional prudential safeguards have been  proposed.

The draft Reserve Bank of India (All India Financial Institutions – Credit  Facilities) Amendment Directions, 2026, which contains these modifications, has been issued for public comments.
