Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - December 2011
Data on sectoral deployment of credit collected on a monthly basis from select 47 scheduled commercial banks accounting for about 95 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks for the month of December 2011 are set out in Statements I and II. CAFRAL-BIS Conference on “Financial sector regulation for growth, equity and stability”

RBI removes Limits on Mobile Banking Transactions
The Reserve Bank of India yesterday removed the ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per customer per day mandated in 2009 under the guidelines on mobile banking. Banks are now free to place per transaction limits based on their own risk perception with the approval of its Board.
