The Reserve Bank of India continues to receive complaints that traders, shopkeepers and the general public in certain parts of the country are reluctant to accept 25 paise coins. It is clarified and reiterated that 25 paise coins have not been withdrawn from circulation, are legal tender and may be validly used/accepted for all transactions.
