Investment by FIIs under PIS : M/s Unitech Limited

The Reserve Bank of India has today notified that under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) investors can now purchase equity shares and convertible debentures of M/s Unitech Limited, through primary markets and stock exchanges in India upto the limits as stated below:

(i)	FII investment limit upto	100 per cent
(ii)	NRI/PIO investment limit upto	24 per cent

The company has passed resolutions to this effect at the Board of Directors' and the Extra-Ordinary General Meetings.
