RBI allows two new foreign banks to open branches in India

The Reserve Bank of India has permitted two new foreign banks to open a branch each in India viz. Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, USA a banking subsidiary of JP Morgan & Co. USA and Kredietbank N.V. of Belgium. Both the banks will open their respective branches in Mumbai.
