$	Secured ways and means advances were occasionally granted on an ad hoc basis.
+	The increase of Rs.0.25 crore over the figure for 1967 was due to the fixation of minimum balances for four States viz. Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya & Tripura. There was no revision for other States.
*	This represents the aggregate of actual limits, some of which were more and some less than six times the minimum balances.
**	The increase of Rs.0.30 crore is on account of fixation of minimum balance for three States viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Goa.
