All-India House Price Index (HPI) annual growth decreased in Q4:2017-18
Today, the Reserve Bank released the quarterly house price index (HPI)1 (base: 2010-11=100) for Q4:2017-18, based on transactions data received from housing registration authorities in ten major cities (viz., Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kanpur and Kochi). RBI launches Survey on International Trade in Banking Services (ITBS): 2017-18 round
The Reserve Bank of India has launched the 2017-18 round of its Survey on International Trade in Banking Services (ITBS) (Revised). The survey, conducted annually since 2006-07, provides information on financial services rendered by branches / subsidiaries of Indian banks operating abroad and branches/subsidiaries of foreign banks operating in India, based on explicit /implicit fee/ commission charged to customers. The survey schedule for the 2017-18 round is required

Workshop on KLEMS Database
Today, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) organised a workshop on the KLEMS – Capital (K); Labour (L); Energy (E); Materials (M); and Services (S) – Database in Mumbai. The KLEMS project is housed in the Centre for Development Economics (CDE) of the Delhi School of Economics (DSE). It is sponsored and fully funded by the RBI and the KLEMS database (1980-2016) is available in the RBI’s website at (data/manual). The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Viral V. Acharya, Deputy

The Reserve Bank releases monthly data on India’s international trade in services with a lag of around 45 days. The value of exports and imports of services during the month of May 2018 are given in the following Table.
