Conducting Energy Audit in Bank's Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Chennai

Reserve Bank of India, Chennai invites sealed tenders (two parts) for the work – ‘Tender for Conducting Energy Audit in Bank's Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Chennai.

2. Part-I of the tender shall contain the Bank's tender document, tenderers covering letter, tenderers additional conditions, if any and be sealed in one cover, super scribing "Part – I Energy Audit of Bank's Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Chennai’.

3. Part-II of tender shall contain no conditions but only tenderers priced bid (Bill of Quantity) and be sealed in a separate cover, super scribing "Part-II Energy Audit of Bank's Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Chennai”. Both these sealed covers shall further be sealed in another envelope addressed by name to The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Estate Department, Chennai and the same shall be dropped in the Quotation Box placed at Estate Department not later than 14:00 hours on August 08, 2025.

4. The salient details of the work for which bids are invited and important instructions to the bidders are as under:

a. Name of work	Conducting Energy Audit in Bank's Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Chennai.
b. Mode of Tender	Manual / Offline
c. Estimated cost of the work	₹2.20 Lakh (inclusive of GST).
d. Date of NIT available to parties to download	July 18, 2025 onwards.
e. Earnest Money Deposit	₹4,400/- to be submitted by each bidder. However, Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) are exempted from submission of EMD amount at the time of submission of tender subject to submission of Udyam Registration certificate (Udyog Aadhar Memorandum). However, EMD shall be submitted by these vendors, if the work is awarded to them. This EMD will be returned after completion of audit and submission of final report. EMD of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after award of work to the successful bidder.
f. Last date of submission of EMD.	14:00 Hrs. on August 08, 2025.
g. Last date of Submission of Techno-Commercial Bid & Price Bid along with the PQ Documents	14:00 Hrs. on August 08, 2025.
h. Date & time of opening of Tender	Part I (Techno-Commercial Bid) of the tender shall be opened at 15:00 Hrs. on August 08, 2025. Part II (Price Bid) shall be opened on a later date which shall be intimated to the qualified bidders.
i. Validity of the tender	Three months from the date of opening of the PART- I of the Tender.

5. For further details please refer tender document Techno-Commercial Bid (Part I) and Price-Bid (Part II). The Bank is not bound to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to accept either full or in part of any tender. The Bank also reserves the right to reject any one or all of the tenders without assigning any reason, thereof.
