Government of India has announced the sale (re-issue) of Government Stock detailed below through auctions to be held on January 28, 2022. RBI Announces Rate of Interest on Floating Rate Savings Bond, 2020 (Taxable) - FRSB 2020 (T) for the Period January 1 - June 30, 2022
In terms of Government of India Notification F.No.4(10)-B(W&M)/2020 dated June 26, 2020 on Floating Rate Savings Bonds, 2020 (Taxable) - FRSB 2020 (T), the coupon/interest rate of the bond would be reset half yearly, starting with Jan 1st, 2021 and the coupon/interest rate will be set at a spread of (+) 35 bps over the prevailing NSC rate. 2. RBI announces rate of interest on Government of India Floating Rate Bond, 2031
The rate of interest on Government of India Floating Rate Bond, 2031 (FRB 2031) applicable for the half year December 7, 2021 to June 6, 2022 shall be 4.81 percent per annum. It may be recalled that FRB, 2031 will carry a coupon, which will have a base rate equivalent to the Weighted Average Yield (WAY) of last 3 auctions (from the rate fixing day i.e. December 7, 2021) of 182 Day T-Bills, plus a fixed spread (1%).
