1. The table does not include representative office opened by Indian Banks outside India.

2. The table excludes (a) 22 Offices in former East Pakistan before the formation of Bangladesh. The status of the properties of these offices, which were formerly vested with Custodian of Enemy Property, Pakistan, remains unchanged and (b) 17 offices which were in Pakistan were taken over by that Government as enemy property in September, 1965.

3.+: Includes two mobile offices.

++: Includes one mobile office.

4. During 1999-2000, one branch of Bank of Baroda in Mauritius was opened and its one branch in the United Kingdom was closed.

5.During 2000-01, one branch of Bank of Baroda at Guyana was closed.
