मुझे खुशी है कि मैं करमचेडु गांव में फिर से आया हूं। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों की महत्वपूर्ण हस्तियां जैसेकि स्वतंत्रता सेनानी , जहाजरानी के अग्रज, वैज्ञानिक, कवि, मंत्रीगण और चिकित्सकीय डॉक्टर आदि इसी गांव में पैदा हुए हैं। श्री यलीगड्डा रंगानाथकुलु गारू जो कि एक प्रशिक्षित इंजीनियर रहे हैं, का भी इन्हीं हस्तियों में शुमार है। हम तीस वर्ष पहले हैदराबाद में अकस्मात मिले। हम दोस्त बने और हमने कई क्षेत्रों में कुछ उपयोगी सामाजिक कार्य करने का प्रयास किया परंतु हम सफल हुए हैदराबाद अध्ययन मंच स्थापित करने में। मेरा उनसे व्यक्तिगत लगाव है और हमारे पारिवारिक रिश्ते हैं। मोटे तौर पर इस पारिवारिक कड़ी में हमसे जुड़े डॉ.वाय.जी.सी.एस.राव गारू और श्री लक्ष्मीनारायण गारू। जब उनके परिवार के सदस्यों ने मुझे सुझाव दिया कि मैं अपने दोस्त रंगानाथकुलु गारू की स्मृति में ठोस सामाजिक योगदान दूं तो मुझे गर्व का अहसास हुआ और करमचेडु आने का तथा आप सबसे मिलने का सौभाग्य मिला। ग्रामीण विकास और विशेषकर पीने के पानी के लिये समर्पित ट्रस्ट का निर्माण युवा पीढ़ी द्वारा किया गया एक आदर्श अनुकरणीय कार्य है। आज की युवा पीढ़ी यलीगड्डा रंगानाथकुलु की पीढ़ी द्वारा बोये बीजों के फलों का आनंद ले रही है।
