The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, by an order dated July 21, 2025, imposed a monetary penalty of ₹1 lakh (Rupees One Lakh only) on The Batlagundu Co-operative Urban Bank Limited, Tamil Nadu (the bank) for non-compliance with certain directions issued by RBI on ‘Prudential Norms on Capital Adequacy – Primary (Urban) Co-operative Banks (UCBs)’ and specific directions issued by RBI under ‘Supervisory Action Framework (SAF)’

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, by an order dated July 18, 2025, imposed a monetary penalty of ₹20,000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) on Sahyadri Sahakari Bank Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra (the bank) for non-compliance with the specific directions issued by RBI under Supervisory Action Framework (SAF). This penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers conferred on RBI under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(c) read with Sections 46(4)(i) and 56 of the Banking Regulation Act.

ಾರತೀಯ ರಿಸರ್ವ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ (ಆರ್ ಬಿ ಐ) ತನ್ನ ಜುಲೈ  17, 2025  ರ ಆದೇಶದ ಮೂಲಕ ದಿ ಗವರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್ ಎಂಪ್ಲಾಯೀಸ್ ಕೋ-ಆಪರೇಟಿವ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್, ಧಾರವಾಡ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ - ಈ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಗೆ  (ಬ್ಯಾಂಕು) ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಿರಿ’ (KYC) ಮತ್ತು ‘ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ (ಪೌರ) ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಸೈಬರ್ ಭದ್ರತಾ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟು’ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಆರ್ ಬಿ ಐ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗಳ ಅನುಪಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡದೇ ಇದ್ದುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರೂ. 1 ಲಕ್ಷ  ( ರೂ. ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ  ಮಾತ್ರ ) ವಿತ್ತೀಯ ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸಿದೆ.  ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಅಧಿನಿಯಮ 1949 ರ ಕಲಂ 47 ಎ(1)(ಸಿ ) ಜೊತೆ ಓದಲಾದ ಕಲಂ    46(4) (i) ಮತ್ತು 56 ರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನಗೆ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಿಸರ್ವ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್  ಈ ದಂಡವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದೆ

This penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers conferred on RBI under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(c) read with Sections 46(4)(i) and 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBl) has, by an order dated July 11, 2025, imposed a monetary penalty of ₹2.00/- lakh (Rupees Two Lakh only) on The Mandvi Nagrik Sahakari Bank Limited, Mandvi, Dist. Surat, Gujarat (the bank) for non-compliance with the certain directions issued by RBI on ‘Management of Advances - UCBs’. This penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers conferred on RBI under the provisions of Section 47A(

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, by an order dated July 11, 2025, imposed a monetary penalty of ₹3.00/- lakh (Rupees Three Lakh only) on Sarvodaya Nagrik Sahakari Bank Ltd., Himatnagar, Dist. Sabarkantha, Gujarat (the bank) for non-compliance with certain directions issued by RBI on ‘Comprehensive Cyber Security Framework for Primary (Urban) Cooperative Banks (UCBs) – A Graded Approach’ and ‘Harmonisation of Turn Around Time (TAT) and customer compensation for failed transactions

The Reserve Bank of India (RBl) has, by an order dated June 30, 2025, imposed a monetary penalty of ₹4.00 lakh (Rupees Four Lakh only) on Shree Chhani Nagarik Sahakari Bank Limited, Vadodara, Gujarat (the bank) for non-compliance with certain directions issued by RBI on ‘Know Your Customer (KYC)’, ‘Customer Protection - Limiting Liability of Customers of Co-operative Banks in Unauthorised Electronic Banking Transactions’

The Reserve Bank of India (RBl) has, by an order dated June 24, 2025, imposed a monetary penalty of ₹50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) on Saibaba Nagari Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Sailu, Maharashtra (the bank) for non-compliance with certain directions issued by RBI on ‘Know Your Customer (KYC)’. This penalty has been imposed in exercise of powers conferred on RBI under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(c) read with Sections 46(4)(i) and 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.
