The Reserve Bank of India, vide directive CO.DOS.DSD.No.S1012/12-07-005/2022-2023 dated May 31, 2022, had placed Harihareshwar Sahakari Bank Limited, Wai, Satara under Directions from the close of business on May 31, 2022. The validity of the directions was extended from time-to-time, the last being up to May 31, 2023. 2. The Reserve Bank of India has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation of Maratha Sahakari Bank Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra with The Cosmos Co-operative Bank Limited, Pune, Maharashtra. The Scheme has been sanctioned in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (4) of Section 44A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.
