Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - September 2012
Data on sectoral deployment of credit collected on a monthly basis from select 47 scheduled commercial banks accounting for about 95 per cent of the total non-food credit deployed by all scheduled commercial banks for the month of September 2012 are set out in Statements I and II. ING Vysya Bank Ltd. and ICICI Bank Ltd. - Penalised
The Reserve Bank of India has imposed monetary penalties of `55 lakh on ING Vysya Bank Ltd. and `30 lakh on ICICI Bank Ltd., in exercise of the powers vested with it under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(b) read with Section 46(4)(i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. The penalties have been imposed on these banks for contravention of various directions and instructions issued by the RBI on ‘Know Your Customer (KYC) norms/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Standards/Comba

RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. RBI rationalises customer charges for NEFT
The Reserve Bank of India has, in consultation with stakeholders, today rationalised charges that banks can levy on customers for transfer of funds through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). Now banks can levy not more than `2.50 (exclusive of service tax) for funds transfer upto `10,000. Charges for transfers beyond this limit would remain unchanged, that is, `5 for transfers between `10,001 to Rupees one lakh; `15 for transfers between Rupees one lakh and ab

RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. RBI Announces Reduction in the CRR
Monetary/Liquidity Measures It has been decided to: reduce the cash reserve ratio (CRR) of scheduled banks by 75 basis points from 5.5 per cent to 4.75 per cent of their net demand and time liabilities (NDTL) effective the fortnight beginning March 10, 2012. As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches.
