RBI and select branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
It is observed that the rush for remitting Income Tax dues through the Reserve Bank of India is quite heavy towards the end of June month. It becomes difficult for the Bank to cope with the pressure of receipts although additional counters to the maximum possible extent are provided for the purpose. RBI imposes penalty on JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., Mumbai for Violation of its Risk Management and Inter-Bank Dealings Guidelines
The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty of ` 5.00 lakh on JP Morgan Chase, N.A., Mumbai (the bank), in exercise of the powers vested with it under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(b) read with Section 46(4)(i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. ING Vysya Bank Ltd. and ICICI Bank Ltd. - Penalised
The Reserve Bank of India has imposed monetary penalties of `55 lakh on ING Vysya Bank Ltd. and `30 lakh on ICICI Bank Ltd., in exercise of the powers vested with it under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(b) read with Section 46(4)(i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. RBI rationalises customer charges for NEFT
The Reserve Bank of India has, in consultation with stakeholders, today rationalised charges that banks can levy on customers for transfer of funds through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). Now banks can levy not more than `2.50 (exclusive of service tax) for funds transfer upto `10,000. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. RBI Announces Reduction in the CRR
Monetary/Liquidity Measures It has been decided to: reduce the cash reserve ratio (CRR) of scheduled banks by 75 basis points from 5.5 per cent to 4.75 per cent of their net demand and time liabilities (NDTL) effective the fortnight beginning March 10, 2012. This reduction will inject around `480 billion of primary liquidity into the banking system. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches.
