Thank you for calling RBI. If you have done a digital or online transaction using authorised payment systems like ATM, debit card, credit card, UPI or through internet banking, but the transaction was unsuccessful or 'failed', your bank or service provider will credit back the amount to you within stipulated time. Otherwise, there is a provision for compensation. You can complain to your bank or service provider if the money for failed transactions is not refunded within time. If it remains unresolved for a month, then complain to RBI Ombudsman online on CMS portal at https://cms.rbi.org.in.
