The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue ₹500 denomination Banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi Series - 2005 with inset letter 'L' in both the numbering panels. Pay IT dues in advance at RBI or at authorised bank branches
The Reserve Bank of India has appealed to income tax assessees to remit their income tax dues sufficiently in advance of the due date. It has also stated that assessees can use alternate channels like select branches of agency banks or the facility of online payment of taxes offered by these banks. RBI to issue ₹5 Coins to commemorate “Golden Jubilee of Indo-Pak War 1965"
The Reserve Bank of India will shortly put into circulation ₹ 5 coins minted by the Government of India to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Indo-Pak war 1965. The design of the coins has: On the obverse: The Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the center with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. RBI announces measures to rationalise Foreign Exchange Outflows by Resident Indians
Keeping in view the current macroeconomic situation, the Reserve Bank of India has today announced the following measures: (i) Reduced the limit for Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) under automatic route for all fresh ODI transactions, from 400% of the net worth of an Indian Party to 100% of its net worth. This reduced limit would also apply to remittances made under the ODI scheme by Indian Companies for setting up unincorporated entities outside India in the energy
