RBI Releases Draft Guidelines on Equity Investments by scheduled commercial banks in subsidiaries and other companies

RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. Sectoral Deployment of Bank Credit - January 2011
The Reserve Bank of India today released data on sectoral deployment of credit for January 2011. Highlights: On a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis, non-food gross bank credit grew by 23.0 per cent in January 2011 as compared with 14.9 per cent in the corresponding period of last year. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Base Rate System from July 1, 2010: RBI
It has been decided that the Base Rate system would be introduced from July 1, 2010. A final circular on the Base Rate System will be issued shortly taking into account comments received from various stakeholders and the discussions with banks. RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches. Working Group on Benchmark Prime Lending Rate
It may be recalled that the Working Group on BPLR was constituted by the Reserve Bank of India on June 19, 2009 under the Chairmanship of Shri Deepak Mohanty, Executive Director to review the Benchmark Prime Lending Rate system. Tenure of RBI Working Group on BPLR extended

RBI and 926 branches of Banks to accept Advance Income Tax
As many as 926 computerised branches of public and private sector banks will receive advance income tax in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These arrangements have been made for the convenience of the income tax assesses. Of the 926 bank branches 862 branches are public sector bank branches, 35 HDFC bank branches, 10 ICICI bank branches and 19 AXIS bank branches.
