In terms of GOI Notifications F. No. 4(22) – B(W&M)/2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19, Series IV - Issue date January 01, 2019) and F. No. 4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18, Series XIV - Issue date January 01, 2018) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above two tranches shall be January 01, 2024.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series XIII - Issue date December 26, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable.  Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be December 26, 2023.

In terms of Government of India Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series XII - Issue date December 18, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be December 18, 2023. 2. Further, the redemption price of SGB shall be based on the simple average of closing gold price of 999 purity of previous three business days from the date of redemption as published by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA).

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series X - Issue date December 04, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be December 04, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series IX - Issue date November 27, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be November 24, 2023 (November 25, 26 and 27 being non-working Saturday, Sunday and holiday respectively).

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series VIII - Issue date November 20, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be November 20, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(16) - W&M/2016 dated October 20, 2016 (SGB 2016-17, Series III - Issue date November 17, 2016) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be November 17, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(22) – B(W&M)/2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19 Series III - Issue date November 13, 2018) and F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series VII - Issue date November 13, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranches shall be November 13, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(8) - W&M/2018 dated April 13, 2018 (SGB 2018-19 Series I - Issue date May 04, 2018) and F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series VI - Issue date November 06, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranches shall be November 04 and November 06, 2023 respectively.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(8) - W&M/2017 dated April 20, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series I - Issue date May 12, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be November 10, 2023 (November 11 and 12 being non-working Saturday and Sunday respectively).

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series V - Issue date October 30, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be October 30, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series IV - Issue date October 23, 2017) and F.No. 4(22)-B(W&M)/2018 dated October 08, 2018 (SGB 2018-19 Series II – Issue date October 23, 2018) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranches shall be October 23, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(25) - W&M/2017 dated October 06, 2017 (SGB 2017-18 Series III - Issue date October 16, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be October 16, 2023.

In terms of GOI Notification F.No.4(16) - W&M/2016 dated February 23, 2017 (SGB 2016-17 Series IV-Issue date March 17, 2017) on Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme, premature redemption of Gold Bond may be permitted after fifth year from the date of issue of such Gold Bond on the date on which interest is payable. Accordingly, the next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche shall be September 16, 2023 (September 17, 2023 being Sunday).

2. Further, the redemption price of SGB shall be based on simple average of closing price of gold of 999 purity, of the week (Monday-Friday), preceding the date of redemption, as published by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA). Accordingly, the redemption price for premature redemption due on September 16, 2023 (September 17, 2023 being Sunday) shall be ₹5929/- (Rupees Five thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine only) per unit of SGB based on the simple average of closing gold price for the week September 04-08, 2023.
