RBI releases Annual Report of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme
The Reserve Bank of India, today, released the Annual Report of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme for the year 2015-2016. Highlights 1,02,894 complaints were received by 15 Offices of the Banking Ombudsmen Complaints increased by 21% compared to the previous year. Offices of Banking Ombudsmen maintained a disposal rate of 95%. 18 Awards were issued by the Banking Ombudsmen. 34 appeals were received by the Appellate Authority against the awards/decisions of Banking Ombudsme

Issuance of ₹ 500 bank notes without inset letter, in the Mahatma Gandhi (New Series)
The Reserve Bank of India will shortly issue ₹ 500 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series, without any inset letter, bearing signature of Dr. Urjit R. Patel, Governor, Reserve Bank of India, and the year of printing '2016' printed on the reverse of the banknote. Consequent to the announcement of withdrawal of Legal Tender status of banknotes of ₹ 500 and ₹ 1000 denominations from the midnight of November 8, 2016, the Reserve Bank of India made arrangements for exchange and/or deposit of such notes at the counters of the Reserve Bank and commercial banks, Regional Rural banks and Urban Cooperative Banks. તારીખ: 07 ડીસેમ્બર 2016 આરબીઆઈ વૃદ્ધીશીલ સીઆરઆર પાછો ખેંચે છે તારીખ 26 નવેમ્બર 2016 ના દિવસે ભારતીય રિઝર્વ બેન્કે 26 નવેમ્બર 2016 થી શરુ થતા પખવાડિયા થી અમલમાં આવે તે રીતે ,16 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2016 અને 11 નવેમ્બર 2016 વચ્ચેના સમયમાં શિડ્યૂલ્ડ બેન્કો ની નેટ ડીમાન્ડ અને ટાઇમ લાયબીલીટીઝ (NDTL) માં થયેલા વધારા પર 100 % ના વૃદ્ધીશીલ CRR ની જાહેરાત કરી હતી. આ પાછળનો આશય રૂ. 500 અને રૂ. 1000 ના મુલ્ય્વર્ગ ની બેંક નોટો ના કાયદેસરના ચલણ તરીકે ના દરજ્જા ને પરત ખેંચવાથી પ્રણાલી / સીસ્ટ

તારીખ: 7 ડીસેમ્બર 2016 પાંચમી દ્વિમાસિક નાણાકીય નીતિ નિવેદન 2016 – 17 – નાણાકીય નીતિ સમિતિ (એમ પી સી), ભારતીય રીઝર્વ બેંક નો ઠરાવ નાણાકીય નીતિ સમિતિ (મોનેટરી પોલીસી કમિટી) એ આજે તેની મીટીંગ માં વર્તમાન અને ઊભરાતી સમષ્ટિ આર્થિક સ્થિતિના મૂલ્યાંકનના આધારે નિર્ણય લીધો છે કે: લીક્વીડીટી એડજસ્ટમેન્ટ ફેસીલીટી (LAF) હેઠળ નીતિ રેપોરેટ 6.25 % એ યથાવત રાખવો. પરિણામ સ્વરૂપ, એલ એ એફ હેઠળ રીવર્સ રેપોરેટ 5.75 % અને માર્જિનલ સ્ટેન્ડિંગ ફેસીલીટી (એમ એસ એફ) રેટ અને બેંક રેટ 6.75 % ય
