Cancellation of licence of Jijamata Mahila Sahakari Bank Limited, Satara, Maharashtra to carry on banking business
It is hereby notified for the information of the public that the Reserve Bank of India has, vide its order dated June 30, 2016, cancelled the licence of Jijamata Mahila Sahakari Bank Limited, Satara, Maharashtra to carry on banking business under Section 22 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (As applicable to Co-operative Societies) read with Section 56 of Banking Regulation Act, 1949. As such, the bank is forthwith precluded from transacting the business of 'banking

RBI extends Directions issued to Shri Sai Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Mukhed Dist. Nanded, Maharashtra till September 30, 2016
The Reserve Bank of India has extended Directions issued to Shri Sai Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd., Mukhed, Dist. 30 જૂન 2016 વર્ષ 2005 પૂર્વેની બેંકનોટોનો 1 જુલાઈ 2016 થી રિઝર્વ બેંકના પસંદ કરેલા કાર્યાલયોમાં વિનિમય ભારતીય રિઝર્વ બેંકેનું અવલોકન છે કે વર્ષ 2005 પહેલાની બેંકનોટોનો એક મોટો ભાગ પ્રસરણમાંથી પાછો ખેંચાઈ ગયો છે અને જૂજ પ્રતિશત નોટો હજી પણ પ્રસરણમાં રહેલી છે. આથી સમીક્ષા કરવા પર રિઝર્વ બેંકે એ નિર્ણય લીધો છે કે 1 જુલાઈ 2016થી વર્ષ 2005 પૂર્વેની બેંકનોટો ને બદલવાની સુવિધા કેવળ નીચે જણાવેલા રિઝર્વ બેંકના કાર્યાલયોમાં જ ઉપલબ્ધ થશે: અમદાવાદ, બેંગલુરુ, બેલાપુર, ભોપાલ, ભુવ

In order to make the process of registration of new NBFCs smoother and hassle free, the application form for registration of new NBFCs and the checklist of documents to be submitted have been revised.
