भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने दि मीरा भायंदर को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लिमिटेड, भायंदर (महाराष्ट्र) का लाइसेंस रद्द किया 14 फरवरी 2001 भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने दि मीरा भायंदर को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लिमिटेड, भायंदर (महाराष्ट्र) को बैंकिंग व्यवसाय करने के लिए मंजूर किया हुआ लाइसेंस रद्द कर दिया है। उक्त बैंक पर बैंककारी विनियमन अधिनियम, 1949 (सहकारी समितियों पर यथा लागू), में यथापरिभाषित ‘बैंकिंग’ कारोबार करने से रोक लगा दी गयी है। अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ, उक्त बैंक जनता से जमाराशियां स्वीकार नहीं
